My approach to wedding photography
— I always aim to capture weddings as they happen, with a candid and documentary-style approach. I like to create a series of images that you can look back at to be reminded of how your day felt.
— You might have noticed this from my images already, but I don't overly pose people. Instead, I try to create a laid-back environment for everyone involved, meaning you'll get images that are organic, full of character, and genuine moments! (That being said - yes, I definitely do make sure I get all your family photos, group photos, etc) Feel free to ask me more about this approach when you inquire!
— I like to get a little creative with some of your images, especially with some of your portraits. I love the nostalgic feel of film photography, unique image composition, and playing with light and shadow.
— I work hard to ensure couples are able to be fully present on their wedding day. I make sure I get all the details from you in advance of your day, and I always make sure we stay on schedule. Wedding days happen fast - I don't want you to miss out on anything!
— When it comes to image editing, I take a timeless, true-to-life approach. You'll see some hints of 35mm film tones in my work as well as some small tweaks to bring your images to life, but overall, I want your images to stand the test of time.

Weddings
For wedding photography, I offer a range of hours, packages, and things like a second photographer or extended coverage. Having posted ‘packaged’ rates in the past, I have learned that it tends to be easier to hear more from each couple about their unique day and what they are looking for. Elopements
I love shooting these. If you are planning to get married just the two of you, or you are aiming for an intimate wedding (15-20 people or less), I can offer slightly different rates than my regular wedding pricing. Couples typically book me for anywhere from 3 hours to a full day, depending on what they are planning.
Couples’ shoots
You don’t have to be engaged to get some cute pics with person you love! I love working with couples to get images that reflect their relationship and their connection, whether they are engaged or not. Typically these shoots are anywhere from 1-3 hours, in studio or at a location you choose (happy to make some suggestions too).
